The company is today exporting mainly: Frozen whitefish as Cod, Haddock, Saithe, Redfish, Greenland halibut, Catfish and redfish from Norway, as whole fish (H&G) and fillets. Salmon and trout (Atlantic and Pacific) are also main products as whole fish (gutted & head on), fillets, blocks and by-products, and are exported to Far East, and many European countries.
Our staff has long experience from the fish industry, both from financing/banking, production and the last years strictly as an exporter. Managing director has worked with financing of fishing vessels in Oslo and Seattle in the late 80s. During the whole 90s the business was whitefish (export of fillets and whole fish) in the family business, Johan J. Helland AS (founded by my grandfather in 1946). This company was a major actor in developing export of whitefish and cooked & peeled shrimps from Norway. In 2001 own business was established, both production and exporting.
From 2005 the our company is also the Swedish Embassy´s representative in this region of Norway.

Farmed responsibly
ASC is an independent organization which certifies environmental and social wellbeing in farmed seafood. Their standards are keeping with the guidelines set forth by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the ISEAL Appliance Code of Good Practice. They have strong worker welfare standards and strong traceability requirements.
